upgrade gives a 500 error

Hi, today i instaled discussit 2.0 on my joomla 2.5 site, before upgrade everything was ok, but now when i try to enter api key it gives:

500 - Nieznany błąd
String could not be parsed as XML

any sugestion?

   Hi.

   If you're upgrading from and older version of the DiscussIt plugin you might need to uninstall the package first and then re-install.

   Does this help?
