Hi there. We've noticed the moderation panel on account.discussit.com isn't working very well at the moment. We plan to extensively redevelop this part of the site in the near future.
For the moment I'd recommend using our desktop moderator which is available here:

Hi Pd,
Could you download the newest AIR runtime from http://get.adobe.com/air/ and then try and run our install for DiscussIt Moderator again from http://www.discussit.com/moderate/.
Thanks
Nigel

The error may be because a URL cannot be reached. Are you behind a proxy?
Could you tell me what OS you are using?
Thanks

This is a long shot but I'd like to rules this out...
Could you try delete your cookies from IE relating to DiscussIt.

I was making sure your able to reach the account.discussit.com domain and the API. It seems you can so that isn't the issue.
Could I temporarily change your password so I can test logging into the moderator as yourself?
Thanks
Nigel

I've logged into Discussit Moderator as yourself without problem. I've now put your password back to it's original state.
It's possible that a firewall is preventing the application from making calls. Do you have a firewall turned on? Try turning it off to see if it fixes the problem. If it does fix the issue then an exception will need to be added to allow DiscussIt Moderator to run whilst your firewall is on.
