How do I install the DiscussIt Wordpress plugin

To install the Wordpress Plugin click on the "Plugins" menu on the left of the of the Wordpress admin screen.

Click on the "Add New" button at the top of the page and enter "discussit" into the search box. Then click the "Search Plugins" button should return the "DiscussIt Moderator" plugin.

Click the "Install Now" link to download and install this plugin.

If your Wordpress installation is setup for automatic installs and updates, the plugin will install and ask to be activated.

If you are not setup for automatic updates you will need to download the zip file and unpack the contents into your Wordpress plugins directory by clicking upload link at the top of the Plugins page.

Once the plugin has been activated it will display a warning banner explaining that you need to enter a DiscussIt API key before the Plugin will start working.

Either click on the banner, or click on the settings link under the "DiscussIt" plugin.

Enter the key provided by the DiscussIt new site wizard.

You are now up and running! If you would like to export any existing comments from Wordpress into DiscussIt so that they appear within DiscussIt Moderator, click on the "Export Comments" button.
